Congratulations to the Ounce Labs patent team, who were granted a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for their April 2003 filing entitled “Method and system for detecting vulnerabilities in source code.” The patent describes the methods through which the Ounce solution uniquely finds application vulnerabilities by analyzing source code, and is the first of a series of filings by the Ounce team.
