OUNCE LABS APPLICATION SECURITY EXPERT FEATURED PRESENTER AT EUROPEAN OWASP APPLICATION SECURITY CONFERENCE

 

What:
Dinis Cruz, Director of Advanced Technology for Ounce Labs, the industry leader in software risk analysis, will present two keynote sessions at the 2008 European OWASP Application Security Conference being held in Belgium next week.  

Cruz will present ‘OWASP State of the Union’ and co-present ‘Tour of OWASP Projects’ along with Dave Wichers (OWASP Board), Michael Eddington (OWASP Encoding Project, .NET Web Service Validation Project) and Mark Roxberry (OWASP .NET Project).

Where:            
The conference is being held May 19-22 at Aula, Ghent University in Ghent, Belgium

When:
Mr. Cruz will present ‘OWASP State of the Union’ on Wednesday, May 21st at 9:45 a.m. (local time).
Mr. Cruz will co-present ‘Tour of OWASP Projects’ on Thursday, May 22nd at 9:40 a.m. (local time).

Speaker:             
Dinis Cruz is director of advanced technology for Ounce Labs and a security consultant based in London specializing in source code security reviews, penetration testing, ASP.NET application security, reverse engineering and security curriculum development and the creation of multiple .NET tools.

In addition to being a member of the OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) Board, Cruz also serves as chief OWASP evangelist and creates and organizes events for the organization, including the OWASP Spring of Code 08. Dinis is a featured keynote and advanced technical presenter.

Mr. Cruz will also present "OWASP, the Web Application Security Project" at CONFidence 2008. The conference is being held May 16-17th at the Manggha Center of Japanese Art and Technology in Kraków, Poland. He will present on Saturday, May 17th at 11:40 a.m. (local time)
